You will be receiving an email invite to join Dialpad. Open it and click “Get Started with Dialpad”

IMPORTANT: DO NOT SIGN UP WITH YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT LINK!

Enter your name and a password. If you’re sharing your number with someone else, do not use any personal passwords, but something simple which both of you can remember.

You will be presented with the number assigned to you. Click on Agree to terms… and “Accept and Continue”.

On the following screen, you will  be asked to confirm this is the correct location where your phone resides. You will need to edit this with your site address. This is used by 911 and other emergency services, so please ensure this is updated with the correct information.

Click on Edit Address and enter the phone’s location. “Afterwards click on Accept and Complete Setup”

This will bring you to your dashboard. This where you manage your calls.

You have two numbers to manage. Your personal direct one and the Site one. In order to get the Site information, click your site under the Department heading. You’ll notice that the tabs on the top now reflect the communication for the site. This is where you will see all calls, messages and voice mails.

Next you need to click on your settings in order to change the default Caller ID for when you call out.

Click on the avater icon on the top right, then the man avatar. Under Caller ID, change that to your site.

Once you’re making calls, ensure that the outbound calls say the Site caller id.

When you’re making a call, you can verify that under “New Call From”, and change if necessary.

Same goes for text messages. Click where it says “New Message From” and pick your site.

This ensures that all communications are centralized and can be viewed and replied by anyone in that site.
